DIRECTORS

Composer, director and photographer from Turin. He has composed and produced soundtracks for dozens of films presented in the most important international film festivals, as well as theatrical performances and immersive installations. He has collaborated with authors and artists like David LaChapelle, Paolo Giordano, Daniele Gaglianone, Roberto Saviano, Alba Rohrwacher, the De Serio brothers, and Stephen Fingleton. He has created sound and visual installations presented at the Museo del Novecento, the MAXXI, the Bordeaux and Lisbon Biennials, and at the Galleria dell’ Accademia di Firenze. In 2019 he created a series of international masterclasses on the theme of “images, sound, and creative engineering” for universities and festivals like Yale, Doker (Moscow), Millennium Brussels, and the Palermo Experimental Center of Cinematography. In 2020 the director of the Galleria dell’Accademia di Firenze chose him as creative director for the new image of the Museum and for the creation of a large digital content program for the Museum. For the Galleria dell’ Accademia di Firenze Giorgio Ferrero wrote and directed ‘Quartetto,’ a short film-musical concert for four antique instruments that was published by the most important Italian and international headlines.
